Today I turn 22. And the only celebration I will be doing until the end of this semester (which happens to be the last of the last!) is adding another 2 to the cake. SO FUN!
Nah. I actually went to dinner with my family and boyfriend. Nothing fancy, just some good ol’ Chinese food. Not to mention the heavenly (and sinful) chocolate truffles cake from Save-On. Come on, if you haven’t tried it, GO GET IT NOWW! For cereals!

I think I just came up with an idea that would perhaps make it onto my portfolio on time. I’m too excited to sleep now…. perhaps I’ll start tonight? I’m going to make a very curvy and whimsical typeface. ohhh yeah.
I came across Kristina Werner a while back and I could have sworn I’ve favourited her blogs and videos. I must have lost it?
Anyways, this woman is amazing! I think I got into scrapbooking (the second time around) and fell so much in love of it because of her. Her style is so simple, stylistic, and so so beautiful.
She has an amazing Make-A-Card-Monday Videos, that I’ve been following for this past few weeks now. LOOOVE IT!

It’s true though. How many times as an artist have we undervalued ourselves. I can count of multiple times. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that everything and anything you do have to be free, but know the difference.
There is less than a month until the grad show. And I think it’s rather going slowly, in an inconvenient and annoying manner. At the same time, if it were to zoom by, I would probably complain.
I just realized that I will be done my post-secondary education forever. I mean, this is it. i would most likely not walk in into any other schools again. I don’t know how I feel about that. This is coming from the girl who loves to do back-to-school shopping and practically have an organized drawer system for pens and highlighters.
I think my life is coming to an end. Time to find another hobby?
